“I love wasting time.” Said no one, ever!
If you’ve tried marketing at fairs or farmers markets, but have seen little to no return on your investment, then you need a new strategy.
Dr. Rachel shares what she’s learned about doing live events and how her health fair this weekend was a big success.
Monday Mindfulness
Please consider taking the time to find a fair or farmers market and hosting booth. These four simple tips will help you attract the perfect clientelle.
- Create an engaging way to attract people to your booth. For Rachel, it was free blood pressure screening. You could have a wheel to spin, a game to play, or fancy ear seeds.
- Have the audience sign up for the service you are offering for free. Well almost free they are giving you their email and name so that you can send them more information about your work
- Send a follow up email in the first 24 hours, sharing a discount or call to action to use your services in the next few weeks.
- Oh, and if you have a baby, bring it! Who doesn’t love a squishy baby.
Have a tip about fairs and farmers markets, I’d love to hear what has worked for you in the comments below.

Great ideas! How much to ship your baby for a day’s use? : )
I will actually use these at the Farmers Market I will be vending at this summer.
Who wants to know about the weeds…uh, wild foods, in their yard?
Jason Stein says
Z’s shipping rates…..hahaha.
Iris, I look forward to hearing about taking the ideas here into action. Fairs and Farmer’s Markets are so fun when you begin to have some systems and get to serve those that need you most.
