Although you aren’t going to ultrasound your business, I can’t urge you enough to start using some diagnostics for your business.
Why? Because it’s a wonderful way to avoid a pitfall.
For example, if you diagnose this year versus last year, you might learn than July, is your slowest month. From there, you can make some strategic decisions, like bolster up your marketing in May, and June, resulting in your most profitable July to date….Or, plan your family vacation for that month, knowing that the trend will probably continue.
Either way, you are making an informed decision.
Take a minimum of 3o minutes this week to diagnose your business in marketing, sales, or operations. You can check your email open or click through rates, compare your numbers in any given month over the past two-three years, make a list of your sales conversations and track from potential to paying clients, or look at your “no show” rates since the beginning of the year.
