To be more accurate, this post is truly about the energetics of giving and receiving.
I remember a British gentleman named Liam, with whom that I used to play soccer. One day, another player on the team was giving Liam a hard time about not passing the ball. The truth is, Liam passed a lot, just not to this guy. And, his response when confronted was, “You have to give to get.”
I was reminded of this simple truth during our recent travels.
Almost every day someone would gift us something. Gluten Free brownies, artisan chocolate, a tour of a great city, a meal, it just kept happing day, after day.
The joy of receiving has inspired me to reciprocate and start to give more to others. For example, I’ve recently offered the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine a free training, Heart of Business, the amazing consulting firm I worked with, a free training, and a few past, and current clients free sessions.
I’d like to give one more thing. I’m loving doing One Page Marketing Sessions. Although, I have a special right now, last week was pretty quiet, and I’d love to help one more person. So, the first person that emails me here and asks for a free one page marketing plan, will get this gift from me to you.

You do have to give to get. Where is it that you can be more generous in your business this week?

Be as open and compassionate as possible to all I meet, be clear and share a vision that meets mutual needs on every level, large or small Find chocolate, ( he, he ) a smile of real connection, and really listening all matter. Showing genuine and mutual appreciation. So community grows.
