**Update 12/5/16
Dakota Pipeline -A critical permit for the Dakota Access Pipeline has been denied, although there is celebration as of 11:57 pm PST today, DAPL is still drilling and taking a $50,000 fine. Of course the battle to stand up and doing life and business is not over, take a moment and celebrate the small win, breath in and breath out, knowing courage is needed now and in the immediate future. Together is Better – Jason
This past week I was grateful to return to a sweat lodge and pray for my friends, family, and all those impacted by Standing Rock (The elders, the water protectors, the peaceful protestors and yes, the law enforcement agents).
It sparked me to start thinking about courage. A quality that I believe is often lacking in businesses today.
I ask you to watch the video, take a moment to remember what is important to you, and consider becoming more courageous in your business. Specifically, I ask you to take the time to make some human to human inquiries using a frustration survey among past and present clientelle.
You can view a sample here.
I also ask that you take a moment to learn more about what is happening on the ground level at Standing Rock.
Water is Life and we can’t do much without it.
Here is Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard talking about water and sacred grounds:
Together is Better,
Jason
Thank you, Jason, for standing with the people in Standing Rock. Thank you for talking in business about the sacredness of the land and water. Thank you for questioning a profitability that does not honor the basic rights for clean water. You have been the only one of all my business coaches who pointed out a way to do business that is based on integrity and respect. It has worked for me.
Roland,
Thank you. Of course the prayers will continue and the battle for doing business differently is just getting started. I appreciate you and all the people you are helping.
