Recently, my MasterMind buddy – Paul Zelizer wrote a post about Ross Edgley.
Ross was talking about his review of meta analysis on varying diets.
His results were the same as in this study, which found that diets performed relatively equally. The key to success was being consistent in your actions.
The same is true in marketing. You try some big ticket, expensive signature program and it doesn’t work. Or, you buy a DIY course and it never gets watched.
The reasons these programs aren’t working is because there’s no consistency to their application.
If you have a solid brand and a clear marketing message, then really it’s all about finding how you like to share yourself with your audience. Because, the truth is marketing is all about building relationships.
It’s been twisted, and turned into big words, like sales funnel, manipulation and getting people to come to you.
But ultimately, marketing is really about building relationships on a topic that you have knowledge about, and consistently educating your audience.
