It’s true, September has been a great month, filled with clients and opportunity.
But, it didn’t just happen because clicked my ruby slippers together three times. Most of what’s coming to fruition now, has been brewing for a while.
And, that’s why the DAF Principle in Marketing is so important!
This is a principle that I created to simplify marketing in a way that works no matter which stream or system you choose to use.
So here it is:
- Decision – You have to choose where to put your focus. I once heard the marketing joke: You know why you can’t ride three bicycles at a time? Because you only have one ass. Well, trying to follow too many marketing directions at once waters down the message and your energy so that all of the effort loses focus.
- Action – Once you decide upon a channel, you’ll need to know how often and when to share your marketing. Once a month may be a good start, but more often will be more effective. The most important element is that you start with something that’s doable for you.
- Follow-up – Finally, the fortune really is in the follow-up, both with people inquiring about your products and services, as well as with the effectiveness of your marketing efforts (this is where analytics comes into play).
